
EAA Chapter 326 Fly-out Rules
Basic flyout setup
- One primary destination and an alternate will be listed on the form
- Suggestions for fly-outs should be made and voted on at the chapter meetings.
- Departure time will also be listed on the form.
- Aircraft will be grouped by cruise speed, under 100 knots, 100-120, above 120
- Slowest planes departing first. Fastest planes last.
Pilot & Passenger list setup
- Pilots log in and add their names to the pilot list
- Passengers log in and add their names to the passenger list
- Pilots with space available wishing to split expenses put a number of available seats with your name and phone number when logging in.
- Passengers must coordinate with the pilots by phone for rides.
Day of the flyout
- The day before the fly-out, the name at the top of the list gives the go no go and calls the next 2 names below his.
- Each pilot in turn calls the name below his.
- If you can't talk to the person directly, leave a message and call the next person down the line.
- Pilots, if the fly-out is canceled, please don't forget to call those below you as well as the passenger if you arranged to carry one.
- Pilots and passengers should show up at least _ hour prior to departure time.
- The staging area for each flight will be the parking area adjacent to the fuel pumps.
